The Caterpillar D-11 bulldozers

The Caterpillar D11 is part of the series of tractors that are on tracks and are one of the biggest and most reliable bulldozers, which make them a very popular machine. The Komatsu D575 is the closest follower to the Caterpillar D11. The Caterpillar D11 comes in two different variations: the D-11R and the D-11R CD.

The Caterpillar D11 bulldozer is within the upper class of the tractor type engines that are produced by Caterpillar because it is very powerful. The Caterpillar style tractors range in size from the D-3, which has a seventy-seven horsepower engine, and the D-11R, which has a massive nine hundred and thirty five horsepower engine.

The Caterpillar D-11 is mainly used for moving large amounts of substances such as rocks and earth. These machines are commonly found working in short distances and very often in confined spaces and these machines are most commonly used in quarries, forestry and mining.

The Caterpillar D-11 is very popular for the power that it has for ripping into the earth and this makes them ideal for forestry and agriculture. The Caterpillar D-11 commonly works on their own, as they are able to do a lot of work. This type of ripping machine is very good because it allows the ground to be split up into small amounts and this enables the earth to be moved. The universal blade variation is tall and very curved and this has big side wings, which is capable for it carrying a lot of material. The combination blade variation is the shortest of the three and the blades have a little curve and small wings on the sides but it is still useful for moving soil, rocks and earth.

The Caterpillar D-11 can be distinguished from it closest rival the Komatsu D-475 by the elevated drive that is on the Komatsu and this one works on an oval shape whereas the Caterpillar D-11 works on a tracked system.

The Caterpillar D-22 is a perfect example of the standard that the Caterpillar machines are and how well designed they are. Most of the Caterpillar machines are perfect for excavation work, which includes clearing a site. A lot of the Caterpillar machines are working on rough terrain and rocky ground.
