The Various Types of Backhoe Loaders
Caterpillar Backhoe Loaders
Caterpillar has four hundred and forty six different backhoe loaders and they all have different levels of performance. The D series of backhoe loaders have an engine size of one hundred and two horsepower and these series of Caterpillar backhoe loaders have an optional feature of a joystick control.
The Bobcat backhoe loaders are very powerful machines and the most recent ones are the Bobcat B Series. These have a horsepower of about thirty one and a half and these have an increase of forty five percent in the power of the backhoe loaders and the breakout force of the dipper has increased by twenty seven percent.
The Bobcat also has a machine that has an engine size of forty-six horsepower and this one has an increase of forty four percent within the dipper and the bucket has an increase of twenty one percent in the power that is behind the bucket.
The New Holland Backhoe Loaders
The New Holland Company has four different models of backhoe loaders and they vary in their capability. The newest one has a four and a half litre turbo charged engine and is a two-tier engine. The engine that is in the new backhoe loaders has a number of other upgrades that is basically an upgraded version of the B series that was produced by New Holland. The B series of New Holland backhoe loaders consists of pilot controls, which only require a low amount of effort, and these will give you a choice of excavator’s styles of loaders styles.
Case
The Case machines have added a lot to M series of backhoe loaders and some of these changes involved the machines being fitted with three engines and these allowed the engine to be able to work better whilst reducing the amount of exhaust emission that were produced. The M series that were produced are a lot quieter than the earlier versions and they are able to work at a much better speed and do a lot of jobs better than the earlier versions. These machines are able to work for about five hundred hours before they will require the engine oil to be changed.
Ingersoll – Rand Machines
These are the most modern backhoe loaders and these machines are able to dig to a depth of twelve feet. This machine is an excellent loader and it is able to work to a capacity of three thousand four hundred and six pounds and it has a break force of nine thousand three hundred and seventy pounds. The loader and the backhoe loader are both equipped with hydraulics that have a two-way flowing system.
Komatsu Backhoe Loaders
The Komatsu backhoe loaders have optional features such as the joystick style controls that some of the other excavators have and this optional feature is available on five different models that are produced by Komatsu. These machines have an increased speed and they are powered by stronger components. The Komatsu machines consist of machines that have a range of horsepower’s including eight seven horsepower engine and a ninety-four horsepower engine.
The John Deer Backhoe Loaders
The John Deere backhoe loaders are able to offer the operators an engine size of ninety-two horsepower’s that means that this engine is reasonably powerful and is able to work at a reasonable pace. The John Deere backhoe loaders are very much capable of doing the work that is expected from them.
The Terex Backhoe Loaders
The Terex Company produced a range of backhoe loaders and these vary in horsepower and engine size, which includes ninety-two horsepower, and one hundred horsepower. The TX760B offers ninety-two horsepower and the 860SX, 860 Elite and the 970 Elite is able to operate at one hundred horsepower. Both the 760 and 860 series models have a four-speed shuttle gearbox and these machines are able to travel at about twenty-six miles per hour.
