New Holland TK4000 Crawler Tractors Tackle Steep Terrain

New Holland’s new TK4000 Series crawler tractors supply the traction needed to work in steep terrain and wet soil, the maneuverability to work in narrow rows, and the low ground pressure to work in areas where soil compaction and root zone damage could be a problem. A new graceful profile and smoother controls make these mythical performers more productive than ever.

The TK4000 Series features 4 distinct models, each designed for a precise task :

The 76-hp TK4030V, with an ultra-narrow width of only 46.1 inches, can work simply in the narrow confines of vineyard rows.

The 94-hp TK4050 is offered in two configurations : standard and mountain. The standard version ( TK4050 ) is an all-purpose crawler tractor with compact size and masses of power.

The mountain version ( TK4050M ) has the same body as the TK4050, but features a wider footprint for more traction and less slippage in steep terrain. With its low center of gravity, long track footprint and wide track, it can operate safely on a twenty percent steeper slope than a wheeled tractor.

The massive power of the 99-hp TK4060 can simply handle tillage and other implements while still maintaining the traction advantages of tracks. ( A large SAE three-point-hitch lift capacity of 4,075 lbs and generous hydraulic flow allows the whole TK4000 Series to deal with a range of implements. )

All TK4000 Series engines meet Tier III emission standards, and are capable of operating on diesel fuel or any biodiesel blend up to B100 that meets ASTM 6571 fuel quality standards.

The new TK4000 Series platform has been re-designed for larger operator convenience and comfort, with all main controls grouped together inside close range of the operator. The exclusive Steering-O-Matic lever in the center of the front console allows the operator to manipulate the steering using just one hand, freeing the other hand to manage the implements.

The new, unique Lift-O-Matic plus feature is easy to use, and permits the operator precise control of three-point-hitch mounted implements. It’s easy to adjust the three-point-hitch to pre-set positions or change the implement position on the go.
