Sig Ferruccio Lamborghini was born into an Italian farming family and started the Lamborghini Company from an old barn. By 1949 the company was doing so well that Sig Ferruccio was able to build a brand new factory in Cento and he changed the company name to Lamborghini Trattori SpA. At first the new factory was run with only a small number of employees producing just one tractor per day. By 1958 the Lamborghini Trattori SpA Company was able to produce in the region of 1500 tractors during a twelve-month period.

The Lamborghini tractors were considered to be one of the finest tractors by most people in the farming world. The Lamborghini tractors were one of the most reliable of all tractors as well as being one of the most powerful tractors.

By 1969 the company was producing in the region of five thousand units per year and the company needed to expand to bigger premises. By 1971 the Lamborghini tractors were the third most popular tractors in Italy. It was not all plain sailing though, and in 1972 a cancellation of a massive order of tractors made Sig Ferruccio loose confidence in the market and he sold the company off to a company based in Treviglio and they continued to produce the tractors. By 1979 the company was producing in the region of 10,000 tractors per year of which about 26 percent of these were shipped to countries all over the world.

There are a wide range of Lamborghini tractors that have been produced over the years. Some of these models are ones such as the Lamborghini C 674 – 70 Track. The C 674 – 70 tracks was produced in the 1990s with a horsepower of 70 with a rear PTO of 540. This tractor has two rear spool valves. Most of these tractors have a diesel engine.

The Lamborghini tractors are still very much sought after tractors and there are a lot of companies who deal in buying and selling new and used Lamborghini tractors and parts.

If you are thinking about getting your first Lamborghini tractor it is a good idea to do a bit of research into them, as there are many different ones.
