Sig Ferruccio Lamborghini was born into an Italian farming family and started the Lamborghini Company from an old barn. By 1949 the company was doing so well that Sig Ferruccio was able to build a brand new factory in Cento and he changed the company name to Lamborghini Trattori SpA. At first the new factory was run with only a small number of employees producing just one tractor per day. By 1958 the Lamborghini Trattori SpA Company was able to produce in the region of 1500 tractors during a twelve-month period.
