		<description>FYI,

I have a 20G with a 60&quot; deck purchased new in 1986 and still working every day but the cost was $5,400.00 with the deck. A huge amount in 1986 and almost beyond my financial capabilities at the time. Would there be a reason that the 18G would be more expensive?

Pete

I have just bought an 18G this summer. I have plenty of experience with the 800/8000 4 wheel tractors and wanted a G series because the wheel hub to axial mounting upgrade eliminated chucking ware.

Paid $500, no mower, worn-out front tires, non-running &quot;rebuilt&quot; motor, and many botched repairs to undo.

Spent $20 in parts to fix the rebuilt motor botches, turned up tapered inserts so the tie-rod studs can be tightened into the front axial pivots, replace the front tires with donated (thinner) 8000 tires, and bought a battery and two headlight sealed beams, which seem to be as expensive as a full size sealed beam! I consider the purchase price and time to repair very reasonable. And watching ebay sales most running G series seem to top out at $1500 +/-.

This tractor is a luxury to mow with compared with the 800 series because of its sprung seat, longer wheel base, and rear wheels that do not chuck. New, in the 80&#039;s, it was a $8K tractor!

Send along your wife&#039;s reasons for resisting the purchase, and I&#039;ll ask my wife if she might be willing to counter point her reasons.

By the tractor you have found, even if the asking price is non-negotiable, I suspect the purchase will never cause buyers remorse.

<description>Beautiful tractor! I have a Super 90WR. I am having a difficult time finding parts though. Would you mind sending some pictures of the back? It looks like you have a 3pt hitch and I would like to see how it&#039;s all set up. (I know the WR did not come with a 3PH) I need to fabricate something and any photos would be of great help.

Thanks
