Despite the disparagement from others (hint, hint) I have a running Onan NB on a 424 (aka 102) that is quite reliable although I do have a G-24 standing by for when the NB eventually quits. I have some parts like a starter or two and a stator. I also have a custom fitted ignition module that still works!!!! I’d be willing to look at what you need and see where I can help. feel free to contact me off forum in regard to that help. Steve
In all of my Gravely lit, the 5865 and Pro 16s are excluded or at least not listed as being available with the 6 lead gearing. The 5200, 5240, 5260, 5465, and 5665 were in the 5000 series. In the Pro line it only shows the Pro 12 as having a 6-lead up through 1995 (last of my lit ) and the Pro 8
So glad to hear about your chain saws, as my new Husqvarna has been giving me no end of fits. I got my old cheapie Poulan going today and was able to get some work done at least. I’ve had the Husky back to Farm King twice now (forty miles one way), and it really seems to be a lemon. It’s going back as soon as I have time to get back over there.
it wont roll if pin in axle is still engaged. if you pull the pin out to next hole. the pin should have two holes one for free wheel and one too engage axel.
My father needs a seat for his TX1704. I found one online in Europe that is close.
I finally purchased a 1614 Power King. It’s a 1978. My question is this: I have a 1212 now with a dozer blade. Can someone tell me what I need to do to make it fit the 1614? I can’t pick up the new tractor until later this week so I’m hoping to get some info before then. Thanks much for any advice you can give me.
On a whim, I decided to take the new points(two months old) off my 566 and put the old points off a 5665 I’m rebuilding just to see if it made any difference.
I have just bought an 18G this summer. I have plenty of experience with the 800/8000 4 wheel tractors and wanted a G series because the wheel hub to axial mounting upgrade eliminated chucking ware.I have just bought an 18G this summer. I just got a mixed cub cadet. By mixed i ment–its a 12hp kohler with a 4spd trans, the sheet metal says 125. I thought a 125 was a hydro. Has skinny tires in front and rear. mower deck is 38 in cut. Where do i find the numbers at on this thing to find out what year it might be?
I think what you heard about a different location, is for another Antique tractor show that they had posters of, that is just a few miles form the Antram’s location.
