Ely-based Standen-Pearson has announced particulars of the new soil separator. The new Uniweb joins existing Megastar-Gen 2 and Unistar machines inside the firm’s now three-model line-up.

As its name suggests, the Uniweb’s distinctive feature is that it is a web-only layout. The first 3 webs are every one of the similar length and interchangeable, whereas the fourth internet is more time and features a clod-crushing draper web over the top.

In terms of general machine length, the Uniweb measures 300mm longer than the Unistar, and is accessible in either 1,500mm or 1,600mm working widths, or even a three-row a couple of,400mm configuration. Electronic depth manage is sensed by a front spiked diablo roller with depth override from the cab, and tractor power requirement is mentioned being 110hp.

Major alternatives extend to a selection of web pitches, stone-release hydraulic drawbar, hydraulic boulder box and 14.5 x 20 wheels. Hydraulic leveling left/right and axle steering are fitted as regular.

Prices will be announced at Cereals 2010 in June.
